Our Core Values

Value Matters: Harlow’s School Bus Services excels in providing excellent customer service. We make it a priority to provide students with a safe and enjoyable experience to and from school. Student transportation is an extension of the classroom, it is imperative that each student is provided the best school bus experience. Harlow’s School Bus Services excels in providing excellent customer service. Along with standing on its Core Values (Safety, Leadership, Advocacy, Integrity, Compassion), Harlow’s believes in providing its customers the best service possible to ensure safe and efficient student transportation. Here are some of the added values that come with Harlow’s services:

Customer Service: Harlow’s provides a customer advocate that will be dedicated to the communication of daily transportation matters. We train and provide the necessary tools that enable prompt notification to drivers, school officials and parents.

Bus Cameras: Digital cameras are systematically installed inside the bus to capture a variety of angles within the bus. The bus cameras serve as a good student management mechanism. In the event of an occurrence on the bus that requires assessment and review, cameras allow school officials to view incidents that were captured in real time with ability to manage privacy.

Bus Bulletin / Rained Out: A system used to allow dispatch to send instant messages to parents and/or school officials. Instant messages include, but are not limited to, notifying parties about late buses, mechanical issues, and traffic notifications. Instant messages are sent to cell phone devices (call or text). This is not an additional cost for parents but an added value Harlow’s provides.

Zonar: A GPS tracking system that allows dispatch to locate buses at their exact location. The device is also used to allow the dispatcher to estimate arrival time(s) at stops or school.

Z Pass: The Z Pass is used to allow dispatch and parents to track each student’s school bus attendance. Students carry a small card that contains passive RFID (Radio Frequency Identification Device) technology that logs each student’s entry or exit automatically when the student passes the scanner located on the school bus. The system provides ridership records and peace of mind for parents.
